Alex Wheels, a Solution for the Aeronautical Sector: High-Speed, Heavy-Duty Wheel

At Alex Wheels, we are excited to introduce our latest innovation, specifically designed for a major company in the aeronautical sector. Our solution meets the technical requirements needed to optimize performance under demanding conditions.

The challenge was to create a compact, silent, and floor-friendly wheel, with a fork resistant to high speeds and capable of rolling on rough asphalt. Additionally, the wheel needed to provide stability and safety while the equipment remained stationary.

To meet these specifications, we turned to our SLR200-AUSB200 SERIES: a cast polyurethane wheel with an aluminum core, capable of withstanding speeds of up to 18 km/h. It is equipped with a double-bearing fork that ensures resistance to lateral loads and smooth turning.

The result has been a resounding success, allowing our client to use versatile mobile platforms for all types of aircraft maintenance.
